Jadon Ward, MA, MA, RCC, CCC

Evergreen Counselling Group

Jadon Ward comes to Evergreen Counselling Group with dual Master of Arts degrees, including a Master of Arts Counselling Psychology. Previous to working in Kelowna, Jadon was counselling at a university Wellness Center on the West Coast. He enjoys working with young adults, and is in touch with the issues facing youth and emerging adults in a technologically advancing society.

Jadon seeks to share the latest psychological research with his clients in a way that leaves them feeling heard and understood. He views the counselling experience as a unique journey the therapist and client take together, and allows the client space take initiative in session. Jadon sees the natural strength and purpose found within the human soul and encourages them to use this to combat the issues they are facing in the moment. He works with couples to improve communication and understanding in order to foster healthy relationship patterns.

Vern Ward, BA, MA, RCC

Freedom Counselling

Vern Ward has had his counselling approach shaped by his background teaching at a University level. Through nearly a decade of teaching experience, Vern Ward has learned how to provide psychological concepts in a personal way that clients can clearly understand.

Vern is an expert at listening through the “noise” of clients’ lives and identifying the root issues at the heart of their problems. With simple, practical steps he helps clients devise a plan to help them take back control of their lives.

Nicholle Miller, BBA, MA, RCC

Evergreen Counselling Group

Nicholle Miller, works with people who face a variety of challenges in life, including low self-esteem, anger, grief, trauma, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and problems in relationships and families. She takes a collaborative, client-centered approach, appreciating people's capacity to make changes in their lives and customizes their use of different therapeutic modalities to suit the needs of each individual client.

She is passionate about representative care, and as someone who is neurodivergent, her goal is to create a safe space where clients can find their strengths and foster resilience. Through self-reflection and guidance in a supportive environment, she will navigate life's complexities together with her clients, uncovering strategies and tools to foster healing, personal growth, and the ability to thrive and lead fulfilling lives.

Tilon Ward, BA, MC, RCC

Freedom Counselling

Tilon has been trained in Rogerian therapy and believes that each individual possesses within themselves the ability to grow, change, and heal. From this person-centered approach, he seeks to partner with his clients and work with them to achieve their goals. With this modality as his framework, Tilon also utilizes Emotion-Focused and Narrative models to better assist his clients.

Tilon Ward joins Evergreen Counselling Group with his Master of Counselling degree. He received his Bachelor of Arts Psychology degree from Briercrest College having had a desire to learn more about the inner workings of the human mind. Tilon chose to pursue counselling because of a passion to work with others and see healing take place.
